What is a Bluetooth Soundbar?
In recent years Smart TV's and flat screen LCD TVs have gotten thinner and thinner. While this may be good for the TV it’s not so good for building in decent quality speakers. Modern TV speakers are typically small and point away from the viewer, which results in poor quality sound.
While some TVs try to overcome this limitation with esoteric designs most TV manufacturers think you won't notice this shortcoming. But anyone who appreciates good quality audio most certainly will. Soundbars can also be an "active" design (contains built-in amplifiers) or "passive" (powered by external amps, similar to normal speakers).
